Eye Makeup Tutorial For Glasses!

Today, I will be posting my very first makeup tutorial on the blog! I'm really excited for this post. It is really simple to do, and I have tried to use eyeshadows that are more generic and easy to find for this eye makeup tutorial. I do wear glasses, and this inspired me to do my own makeup tutorial for glasses on the blog.
That (below) is the before and after, just incase you wanted to know. Thanks for reading and I hope this helps!

1) MAC Rubenesque Paint Pot: You want to start of with a good primer or base for your eyes. In this case, I am using this Paint Pot by MAC which is a pretty peachy-pink, gold colour.

2) Urban Decay Naked Palette Eyeshadow in Sin: The greatest thing about wearing glasses is that you can get away with darker, shimmery, glittery and brighter eyeshadows. Sin though is a neutral shade, but it has quite a lot of tiny shimmer particles. Apply a similar champagne-pinky shade all over your lids, on top of your base.

 3) Urban Decay Naked Palette Eyeshadow in Buck: You want to make sure that your shadows are blended properly, whether you wear glasses or not. A matte brown shade on the crease will not only instantly neutralize your eye makeup, but will also create a lot of depth in your eyes. Blending a matte brown shade will prevent your eye makeup from looking too "one-dimensional"

4) Urban Decay Naked Palette Eyeshadow in Naked+Urban Decay Naked Palette Eyeshadow in Virgin: Mixing these two colours together make the perfect highlight shade for my brow bone, not too shimmery, not too matte. Apply this to the inner corner and brow bone to brighten up your eyes and make them look bigger. Sometimes your eyes can seem to look smaller because of your glasses, so try not to skip this step.

5) Loreal Super Liner in Black: Line your eyes to make them look bigger. You can also wing it out the way did. It won't look too dramatic since the actual eye makeup is fairly neutral and your glasses will prevent them from looking too dramatic. Lining your lash line can also make you look like you have thicker lashes. And speaking of lashes, instead of applying mascara to your lashes, use the liner itself to darken up your lashes and make them appear to be a tiny bit longer. Curling your lashes before you apply the liner on your lashes will help make your lashes look really, really long, as if you applied mascara. I wouldn't recommend applying too much mascara on your upper lashes as the product can stain the back of your lenses of the glasses and you would feel very uncomfortable about the fact that your lashes keep hitting your spectacles.

6) Bourjois Waterproof Eyeliner in Blue Remix: This is probably the best part of your eye makeup. As I mentioned before your glasses will prevent your eye makeup from looking too dramatic. Since the makeup is still pretty neutral, applying a pop of colour on your lower lashline and waterline will really brighten up your eyes with a nice pop of colour. I love this eyeliner as well, the formula rocks and stays on your waterline for about 6 to 7 hours with hardly any smudging.

7) Loreal Telescopic Mascara in Deep Brown: As I mentioned before, I wouldn't recommend mascara for your upper lashes, but mascara on your lower lashes is a great idea. It won't hit the back of your glasses but will still look really, really pretty. Its an easy way to make your eyes look bigger and brighter. Instead of applying black mascara, I opted for a deep brown as I wanted the bright turquoise on the lower lashline to pop as well. And besides, brown is a more neutral option.

And there you have it! Fast, simple and really pretty! As far as blush and lip products are concerned, I would go for a more neutral blush (like MAC's Blush in Gingerly or Bourjois's Blush in #10) and for the lips go for a nude or neutral peach (like Revlon's Colorburst Lipgloss in Sunset Peach)

Thanks for reading and I hoped you liked it!
